I was there. Paid an awful lot for the ticket (£240 in '97!), lost my friends so spent the whole weekend alone (before mobiles, lol), was fully unprepared for the mudfest that it was and Neil Young, the only other reason I went, pulled out...but seeing this greatness made it all worthwhile.

Kids today will never know that feeling of walking into a Tower Records browsing cds and suddenly hearing a bad employee play Airbag well before the release date over the speakers. That first part with the low guitar riff/solo thing… we somehow knew it was Radiohead. Well, I’ve said enough. Back to my middle age present day.
