Vintage Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress - Demo and review

This is a video on my 1977-1983 Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress.
Just to allow people to hear some of the sounds that they create, they are certainly interesting sounds!

First time plugging the pedal in, in over a year so I didn't even know if it was going to work!

I have one of the vintage ones, paid about 250 US. Great sound and well worth the money.

It's pretty easy to date those pedals.

The filter matrix stops the sweeping so that you can manually set the sound of the flanger in a specific position a bit like what a cocked wah is to auto wah. Yours sounds a lot like mine (1978) in it's full flanging. I have a later one too. The early one sounds like Alex Lifeson and the newer one sounds like Andy Summers. Yours has a foot in both camps. Good demo
