So I was informed by @handrychuhairy that my waitlist for a monstera adansonii variegata is up and I can pick her up today. I was on this waitlist for months and I was super excited and wanted to show you the process. Of course I got distracted and ended up taking you guys on an impromptu tour. This nursery carries the rarest plants and is renowned for import and export of rare as well as strangely mutated plants. At the end of the video, I show a bit of guilt with the purchase and explain rare plant prices and my view on how we value them.

06;57 - Polyscias (species) Variegata
07:08 - Ficus Pumila Variegata
08:23 - Ficus Shivereana
14:46 - Euphorbia Coalcomanensis

"NO PLANT IS TRULY YOURS." ohmy! all the bragging rights people can get from having the "rarest" plant they can have at home and post on instagram. Thank you for talking about this and talk more about this really. 😅 Youre so awesome! Thank you for being simple, humble. Spread the plant love! 💚

It’s refreshing how down to earth you are, especially in discussing rare plants and prices. It’s so true, we never truly own a plant, we can be caretakers and tend to them but they belong to a force that is forever wild, Nature. 🌿

I thought the 1st part of the video was already great and amazing following your enthusiasm and excitement as you roam around that amazing nursery but then the last that you’ve added is really amazing and full of humble and selfless advices that all plant parents should learn and appreciate as we all go through this journey. Keep doing what you love for I know this plant community is growth together with plants we nurture and care for the better future of our environment ☺️

I never really comment but I just want to say I appreciate that you referred to it as 'our' plant. I can't watch a lot of plant YouTube anymore because it seems to just be people bragging and that takes out all the enjoyment out of the video. I subscribed and can't wait to see more content!

Rare plant craze is not new in human history, the tulip bubble in the 17th century being the most notorious. But I guess human greed never goes away. All plants, all living creatures for that matter, have no ownership, no price. They are most valuable when enjoyed and admired freely. Thank you for sharing your true and sincere appreciation for nature with us

Ur love for and connection to plants is something ive never seen in anyone else and It's truly amazing to be able to share that emotion in the way that u do. Love your attitude. I agree that plants outlive us. Ive been propagating my babies and gifting them to friends and family. It's so fun to go to someone's house and they point proudly to the plants they have grown from the cuttings.
Also cackled about the white fusion. So true.

very good message! Something worth to be said to all wanting to be plant parents specifically those acquiring rare ones. As most of us are using the therapeutic power of plants to heal the anxiety being locked in our homes, we should not fail to understand that as nature gives back something to us, we should learn to share its power be influencing others -- to help them in that way. This should also be a realization that, once these natural beauties are helping us heal, we should care for them is the best way we could. Your videos are helping me - us in this effort. Next video please!!!! :)

Wow... I'm so happy to have watched the WHOLE video... which I always do! 😁
You're an inspiration, thank you for all you shared in this video. I actually been a 'plant mom' for YEARS but, back in 2015, I had gallbladder surgery and something went wrong and so, I ended in the hospital for a whole month and another month at home in a weak state. My plants got very neglected and I lost some that loved so much and so I also lost my 'plant love' for a long time. I've kept many in my closed in lanai back porch with very little inthusiasm for a couple of years. Well, recently, I became very aware of my plants and my enthusiasm and LOVE has come back to me. I've been following you for just a couple of weeks but, I love your videos! You have such passion, love and such good explanation of plants that is so contagious to me. 😊 My husband is having a heart attack every time I go out and come back with a new plant.. Lol... jk.. he says as long as I'm happy, he's happy!! 🥰 Well... I think I talked too much, thank you so much!! Looking forward to more videos!! And hopefully, plant friends!! 😄🙃🌱
