I don’t use alcohol prep pads but as a nurse I wash my hands thoroughly before I touch any of the device. I simply wash my face and let dry immediately before I use needle device. Careful clean technique ALWAYS includes hand washing 🙂if your using on yourself just make sure not to touch the device until your hands are clean. I just don’t feel alcohol pads are necessary if your only treating yourself, you always wash hands or if you prefer clean gloves. The skin once it’s been washed thoroughly really is pretty clean. I make sure it’s dry and I will use a toner at times just to ensure any residue left behind after washing has been removed.
