Is there intelligence on Earth?

Compared to what? In relation to what?

Are humans intelligent?

By itself this statement is meaningless, but humans compared to other things gives us a framework to think about it.

In relation to what are signs of intelligence? Other humans, dolphins, ants, to a rock?

In relation, or relative to, other humans of course there are are intelligent individuals among us, not everyone, but there are.

And others who are not intelligent can contribute in other ways.

Well, I think intelligence is a relative thing. And intelligence and consciousness are created by computation. So even a calculator has also some kind of very low-level of intelligence. Where there is computation takes place, there is intelligence.
