United States passes one million Covid deaths - BBC News

The US has passed more than one million Covid-related deaths, says the White House.

President Joe Biden said the country was marking "a tragic milestone" and each death was "an irreplaceable loss".

It's the highest official total in the world - although the World Health Organization believes the true death toll may be much higher elsewhere.

I can attest to the conditions that nurses have struggled under during covid19, I was sent to local er, then a short hospital stay, sorry to report that all the nurses I came in contact with, have serious ptsd symptoms & don't seem to have any empathy left in them, I feel supreme sympathy for nurses now. I asked each, if they worked thru the pandemic & they all confirmed they did work thru it. I am no dr, but I have an military ex-husband & I do know the symptoms of ptsd well.

Let's put this in perspective please. The population of the United States is 329.5 Million. In an average year, a little over 3 Million Americans pass away.

One million over 2½ years averages 400K per year, or 0.12% of our population. By comparison, 0.68% of the U.S. population died during the pandemic of 1918-19; the Yellow Fever epidemic here in Philadelphia in 1793 claimed 10% of the city's population.

It would be nice to see MSM get back to putting things in perspective by reporting facts instead of simply spreading doom & gloom.

In 2020 there were over 1.8 million people worldwide who died from COVID. There were over 42.6 million abortions performed worldwide in 2020. Approximately 908, 000 abortions were performed in the US in 2020. It's safe to say that the total from 2021 puts the abortion death toll far above the 1 million mark. I find it tragic how some deaths are mourned while others are not.
