Finally, someone mentioned The Art of Reasoning by David Kelley as the go-to textbook for learning logic. I read many textbooks on logic and this is THE one that explains logical concepts in the most digestible manner.

Love this video!
I would love to see a video on notetaking- specifically how much time you dedicate to taking notes, when in the reading process you take notes, how often you should review them etc.
Keep up the good work

I really appreciate your videos. Not just about what to study, but how to do it. Anyone reading philosophy at any level will benefit from listening to you. Thank you my friend. As I've said before, I look forward to celebrating with you when you get your PhD.

Hi! I've just watched a bunch of your videos and it'd be cool to see how you practically apply the lessons you've learnt from philosophy in your life. This can include relationships with friends and family, professionally, living a physically healthy life, whatever you want! Thanks!

This video of yours (and your other ones as well are) is a good starting point to pursue a discipline for non-domain people. Thank you for your inputs.

Can you share your thoughts on organising different abstract topics and discovering the connections between diverse areas? It would be helpful if you could focus on how we can collate our knowledge in Wikipedia form (as in a hyperlinked environment)? Several times I have found there is a repetition of themes among diverse areas, yet it is very difficult to lay them out succinctly.

Life according to reason is best and pleasantest since reason more than anything else is man. This life therefore is also the happiest - Nicomachean Ethics book 10

I'm just getting into philosophy but I've exposed myself to scripture writings more, mainly the Bible and I see similarity in 1 John - 1:14 with the quote above even though Aristotle came way before Jesus.

Thank you for the book recommendations and I can't wait to learn more 🤔

I should really look into learning how to write using the established logic syntax and symbols. I am a big believer that having access to a system of encoding gives our brain the ability to compress concepts into fast and easy bits, allowing for us to process things using those concepts with ease. Not having that encoding hinders my ability to thing with a more pure logic.

I do a lot of formal study, programming, language learning, psychology.... I can't invest much time in studying philosophy a lot .But I want to read philosophy. This year is soon to end . I want to read some but good books on philosophy. Focused on knowing thyself and increasing my knowledge on different philosophies.
What are the best 5-7 books you recommend for me ?
