That’s pretty good realistically people are not firing nails that fast, maybe if you are laying down some flooring or sheeting a roof with plywood u might be able to out pace the compressor. Building a wall or installing some door headers would be slow enough at least with one person plugged into the compressor id imagine. I have been eyeing this little 1 gallon compressor at harbor freight for awhile now, I’m always tempted by it sexy body and size but I never thought it could handle a framing gun. Throw a 3/8 coupler and 3/8 hose on it and you’ll be in business, it would be nice not to lug around my 4gallon 80 pound ridged compressor if the job doesn’t require it

Top review! I'm keen to replace my Hitachi framing nailer, as it has become unreliable and, frankly, I'm not up for another £400 to replace it. I was looking at the possibility of using a compressor, but was unsure if the smaller and quieter versions would be capable of doing the job. Thanks to your review, I'm much happier at giving it a blast!

Just purchased a new 1 gallon single tank Husky 135 PSI silent compressor today!! Its extremely quiet and it nailed twelve 3 inch framing nails (deep) before the fast filing tank restarted itself!! $127 plus tax at Home Depot...

I have a 1 gal brushless ridgid 18v compressor. I use it all the time to hang fence boards on small jobs with a framing gun. My ridgid framer and my paslode framer will both sink 8 or so 2 inch nails before it kicks on. It will run a one 9ah battery for about 40 feet of fence worth of nails before it starts really slowing down. I was going to buy a cordless framing nailer til I tried it. I never thought it would work but it has done hundreds of feet of fence repair without failing me yet.

I’m assuming cuz of such a small compressor, using 1/4” hose? If so, I’m impressed it did that many nails, wow.

How are these smaller compressirs for home / hobby / diy everyday tasks? I have a small workshop / shed in my driveway, where i work on wheelchairs (im a wheelchair customizer / salesperson / technician) i often have to blow chairs i get in off, blow up tires, and small hobby stuff like blowing up toys etc. Since i dont have space or the need for a 20L or bigger unit. I mate of mine offerede me a new nardi compressor like this (the newer grey model) for a fine price. You think it would be enough for the shed? All my nailers for construction are cordless so id never use it for that ;-) thanks in advance, great video!
Btw, what model is the ray bans? They fire ;-)

Supposedly the harbor freight fortress 1 gal has two effing pistons making tank fill up in <2min and its quieter but heavier. I have a 1 gal senco too. Oh well, just run it down.

Can you try craftsman from Lowes, it goes up to 150psi?

My Milwaukee m18 2 gallon compressor nails about 6 2 1/4" ringshanks before the compressor kicks on. And I fired about 29 nails while it ran with a second between shots before they would go down.

So you were turning the compressor off and not letting it refill?

Why did you choose the senco framing gun instead of Hitachi...have seen alot of reviews saying Hitachi is the best.please enlighten me
