honestly speaking I f up my grades in my school, and I lost my interest in studies, even my 1st year days were not that good too but then I got my online friends and one of them literally showed me smth I thought is impossible. I got a goal to work on but then covid arrived, and I got lazy over time, covid days sucked honestly but at least I started working out and practicing dance but nothing from my academic side. Finally, when I graduated this June, I have been consistently studying for a month now, working on my tech skills, and programming daily. Even I have to leave some of my old friends cause of my own good. Just like you said sometimes things don't get balanced with everyone so we have to find new one.

long story short I just really wanna focus on myself, work hard for my goal, wanna build the lifestyle I want.
