The 5g issue isn't an issue with the TCL but true of all phones offering 5G capability. Nearly all the Android phones these days are 5G capable.

I got a TCL 5 g 20 pro and I think it's a great phone man I'd recommend it to anybody all day long.

To me it seems like a great phone so far, compared to my Galaxy A20 and the couple of Motorola androids I have! Don't knock it until you try it! I am still getting use to it, but so far I LOVE IT! As far as the 5G goes I don't think that's much of a issue for me, I'm in a larger city that has 5G fiber optics and so far I have seen no issues with the speed. This TLC 20 Pro also has VOLTE, Great color, alot more storage and features that I've never had before!

One thing I don't understand is the fact that when I try to use the fingerprint on the always-on display it doesn't show up. I have to tap the screen for it to show up

Why has nobody pointed out that the TCL 20 pro has thr Huawei Mate 20 pro body frame?? Like exact same shapes. Camera on back and front are different but easily cut out.

Personally the only thing I would say on the phone is that I have the impression that it is heating up but now I know that I can so for now I would put 4 stars. Because I'm not used to it then.

But I recommend it especially for the camera which I personally find amazing.

I only had 200 bucks, so I got a Samsung a14 today. I wanted a TCL model they had for almost the same price, but were out of stock. I still don't know what i think about this a14 though.

So the PHONE does not suck, it is our under developed 5G network by the government sucks!

All 5G capable phones face the same issue based on the video.

I have the 20 pro 5g and I absolutely love the phone. Never had a loss of 5g. In fact speed tests have gotten me around 300mbps. For $200 it's a solid device and thinks it's a great deal for the value. Now a trash phone is the TCL 40xl. Your opinion is your opinion as mine is my own. The experience thus far I have thoroughly enjoyed it. My few let downs is the android experience only being android 12 but that doesn't matter too much to me. I love the screen to body ratio and the 5g speeds on this device. My galaxy s23+ is having an issue with connecting and disconnecting from WiFi every step has been taken to fix the issue including resetting the gateway. Nothing has fixed the issue it kinda makes me appreciate this budget phone. I have yet to have an issue with it.

Great point made about the 5G coverage but I wouldn’t say that this makes it a useless device.
Sad that the sound quality is so poor though.
