Fun fact!: 'My R' stands for 'My Reflection' so its about a girl who had ways to convince herself not to commit, but in the end she didnt have any ways to convince herself.

To those who don't understand, "My R" stands for "My Reflection". All the girls she described were all her, she kept convincing herself not to jump but in the end, she couldn't.

Extremely sad fact: In Japan, they take off their shoes before jumping so that people know it wasn’t a murder. :(

did anyone see how she said
*"you're lucky that you've never gotten robbed of anything"*
then the next girl says
"everyone ignores me, everyone *steals*
and the girl singing said
*"you're still loved by everyone at home"*
and then the last girl
"i just wanna stop the scars that grow, everytime that i *go home*

The whole meaning changes when you realize she’s singing about herself the whole time.

The girl in this song actually survived. My R is the first song in the album. The last song on the album is her being saved. The album is: 'Diary of Underage Observation' by Wada Takeaki

It’s funny how strangers would listen to your problems more then your own family or friends

"A girl with Braided Hair"
"There was but a girl Short As Can Be"
"The Petite Girl told me her woes"
"She wore a Yellow Cardigan"

"Taking off my Yellow Cardigan, watching my Braids all come undone, this Petite Girl Short As Can Be, is gonna jump now and be free!"

She was talking about her past selves. (Reflections)

When you realize that all of the girls are actually just her
And that she is stopping herself
Over and over

Have you guys noticed in the first line “A girl with braided hair before me” so the first girl as braided hair, and the second girl “a girl short as can be” and she’s also Petite. And the last girl has a yellow cardigan, but at the last line it says “Taking off my yellow cardigan, watching my braids all come undone this petite girl, short as can be, is gonna jump and be free” So all the girls she was talking about was herself.

omg i just realised
“a girl with braided hair” “letting my braids all come undone”
“a girl short as can be” “this petite girl short as can be”
“she wore a yellow cardigan” “taking off my yellow cardigan”
all those girls are just different versions of the same girl, and she’s trying to find reasons not to end her life, and it had been working until the last girl, where she couldn’t truly stop her, she only delayed her by literally pleading with her, but in the end she didn’t actually stop her, and so, yknow
