the fact that she wrote her lyrics, stayed true to the idiosyncrasies of the original lyrics and maintained a Japanese style of haiku-esque writing while rhyming is incredible actually.

Um, so yeah. This upload is mainly for my fans in the U.S. because the original cover got blocked in the states. At least now everyone in the world is able to listen to it again! If you'd like to purchase this new version of the cover, I'll update the video description with links to the music stores as soon as I can. I'll also be providing a free download of the old cover for everyone.

I was really bummed out about the song getting blocked, but they provided me with the funds to get a stellar instrumental created. Now that I have heard the translation, I find this song extremely fitting for Mugen, Fuu and Jin's journey together, especially for the ending. It talks how they want to be together, remembering on the memories they've shared yet at the same time moving on in the end either way. By the way this was an awesome English cover of the song! I wish people would respect the fact that both covers are simply magnificent. They have slightly different feelings, and that's okay. In my opinion, Sapphire's version sounds like a farewell song to a lover while Minmi's is more innocent, like a child. They are both incredible in terms of lyrics and music. I respect Sapphire, Minmi, and Nujabes. Have a great day and just enjoy the song.

I will have to say that after so many years of hearing many remixes of the whole S.C OST, this is one of the best Skiki's No Uta Eng covers I have heard. Got the gift.

Im no otaku, and dont know Japanese to begin with, but i usually don't listen to English covers for long, its like listening to Spanish covers of System of a Down for instance.. Not to mention, they're usually dramatized (echo, auto tune, jazzed up and essentially forced for better flow), and is usually just difficult to do, though I always respect the attempt. As for this, I came here expecting the original, when I started hearing English I actually had two reactions. One split moment was "oops, let's get the real one, no wonder the instrument was different", but 2 words into the song, my reaction changed to "hmm, this sounds pretty good." Next thing I know, I listened through the whole song... outstanding cover! Easy the best I've heard.
