Show Trimming Flatwork On An Airedale Terrier

An Airedale Terrier has to be hand stripped if it is going to be shown in conformation shows sanctioned by the American Kennel Club. This Handstripping grooming method is not new and is favored by terrier diehards, terrier enthusiasts and breed purists. I love Handstripping my Airedale terriers and this art form is actually allowing me to sculpt my ideal Airedale silhouette onto the canvas of my dogs’ bodies.
