These young men hadn't realize yet how much they were going to change the world

Can clearly see how Syd was always in a good mood, he was in bright green clothes jumping around while others were in black and white suits, speaks alot about Syd.

Even Roger Waters seemed light hearted and joyful when Syd was still there ! Such a heartbreaking story... Shine on you crazy diamond suddenly appears as a moving masterpiece once you've learned more about Barrett.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Best Pink Floyd album. Could not believe what I was hearing when first listening to it. Changed my life.

“and I remember Syd mixed ‘Chapter 24’ – it was just him with his fingers on the faders. He mixed it beautifully, just like that. That’s when I thought, ‘That’s what a genius is, ’ because he could do things that there was no way for him to know how to do.” - Andrew King

Lucky to be alive in a world in which Syd lived and composed such brilliant, haunting melodies.

Syd was undoubtedly a creative genius, this is an incredible work of psychedelia right here, and Rick’s organ is amazing. These 2 could have had the dopest band just on their own.

Over the years, when I've read books or watched documentaries about Syd, people always seem to talk about his charisma and what a magnetic personality he had. Watching this footage I can really see that. Pink Floyd wasn't exaggerating when they wrote the lyric "When you were young you shone like the sun" Syd was a beautiful man and looked so full of life 💎

This is just sheerly perfect music from Syd here. The music matches the Barrett hype; he was a one-off — who else made pixie-ish, fairytale imagery springboard from ‘Summer of Love’ pop stylings? For a brief period, he was a genius. And it lives on in these precious recordings.
