Israeli Children’s book calls for invasion of Lebanon

Israeli father reads a children’s book named “Alon and Lebanon” to his young son, where the characters say that Lebanon “belongs to Israel”.

According to Israeli newspaper Haaretz, this new book - which openly calls for the invasion of Lebanon - was “crowd-funded” and “promoted” by a group of far-right Israeli settlers named “Wake Up North”, which includes Daniella Weiss.

“The movement’s leaders are clearly planning ahead, planting the seeds of longing for Lebanon in the hearts of young readers,” Haaretz says, adding that the book is for children aged 2-6.
