My wife bought some marine collagen and disliked the smell. I put it in my protein shake and my skin is soft like a babies. Never used anything like it before and have had a lot of comments as I work all day in the sun. It fully worked and can only be this.

I've been taking marine collagen peptides and grass fed collagen peptides together. It's been pre mix at 50/50. I take two scoops so 10 grams before bed. (5 grams of marine and 5 grams of grass fed) I've noticed so many health benefits. My joints feel better, my hair/skin looks healthier, but the most important thing I've noticed is my quality of sleep is better. I don't toss and turn as much and get a full nights deep sleep. I tried marine collagen for 8 months and sometimes I get headaches and the pores on my arms became active it looks like I have goosebumps most of the time. I tried Bovine collagen for a month already and I noticed it helps me sleep 8-10 hours that's why I like Bovine more.

Why choose? I take both.
Have taken bovine and chicken for years. Added marine about a month ago and definitely can tell the difference in terms of skin, hair and gut with the new addition. But not letting go of my bovine for joints. I take one in the morning hours before my first meal and the other mid afternoon in lieu of an afternoon snack.

I have been doing strict carnivore for about 7 months, and I do collagen peptides in my black coffee.

i use 50% Bovine and 50% Marine with an Activator added with Extra Glycine, Proline and Lysine. This is amazing what it doing for my skin, Hair and Joints... I am 74 and feel 34....

I’m taking 10, 000 microgram liquid shots daily of marine collagen (here in Japan) and my nails are transformed. Skin benefits are slower and hair loss is majorly reduced. Still have joint pain and tendonitis in wrists with no improvement in 30 days.

I can't imagine there's much gain to be had obsessing about the source type of collagen, since they all get hydrolized into short peptides.

True. I’ve tried both. Bovine is really good for skin, joints, hair and nails. Marine is good for skin only.

Just eat enough protein and maybe supplement with Glycine. Thats all. Hydroxyproline doesn't increase collagen synthesis by itself. Glycine is the main guy.
