Great interview from Chris. Hopefully the fans will get behind our players who have worked so hard this season to get us where we are today. 🔴⚪⚔

The club needs support through the good and bad. That’s what a true fan does.

I can't believe some fans are on players and managers back when we are second in league, been excellent all season, done double over the pigs. Get behind the team for tomorrow and we go again. UTB COYRAWW

Spot on Chris, this shouldn't need to be said. Get behind the team. Nothing is won with negativity and blame.

Win, lose or draw, we'll still come back for more, its got to be United all the way.

We were due a loss, and it happens unexpectedly to the best of teams. Teams are fighting at both ends of the table..Still in a strong position, we cant give up on them now...got to stick with them till the end and try and push them over the line.. if its play offs so be it, who thought we'd be in this position before season with 2 points off and a fresh new team. Not to mention some key injuries throughout the season in which we still rode out result's.

Anyone remember our season in League 2? That was an existential problem for the club; Saturday was a mere blip in comparison.

Some brave words here. Despite the disappointment on Saturday, there are still 6 games to go to guarantee automatic promotion. Time to get upset is if/when we don’t make it. Until then keep the criticism down.

I just love this guy and how his emotions and honesty are at the forefront of every interview, every presser and every match 👍 Obviously, not the best game from our boys (vs Oxford) - but this is football. Totally 100 percent behind Chrissy and the boys. Some fans have had a meltdown due to the recent 1-0 loss😲... Blimey, it's not the end of the world!!! So glad Chris has spoken out about this, and I'm confident that our boys will take a Blades win tomorrow night, under the lights at BDTBL. Right behind the lads and Chris 😊⚔️⚔️⚔️

It was a huge disappointment to lose a game that if we has won would have given us a massive boost. However, it didn't happen that way and as frustrating as it is we have to go again. It was a very poor performance which boggles the mind after such a great win against Coventry. I dont agree with booing players and i find swearing at matches, where it is supposedly a family environment just disgusting. Using the f bomb and c bomb isnt a measure of how passionate you are as a fan, it just demonstrates emotional and verbal incontinence. Im not surprised that there are people who call themselves supporters who verbally abuse players and still think theyre supporters. Lets get behind them for Millwall, itll be a tough game! UTB ⚔️

I don’t agree with the reaction in terms of some of our fans being over-the-top and being abusive towards the players, it’s completely wrong in terms of their output this season.

I think the frustration after the game was a reflection of the massive opportunity which we threw away. We played after Leeds, saw their result, had the chance to really take control of the promotion picture, and we put in a really limp performance. It’s the most disappointed I’ve felt this season because of that. You can always lose, you have to do a lot right to win (which we have done consistently), but of all the times to put in a rubbish performance, it just felt like really poor timing. I was disappointed with the players, I still am, and I’m relieved we play on Tuesday because I can’t wait to forget about the Oxford game.

To abuse or berate the players is just stupid and will only hurt us though. It’s the clingers on/newer fans and the old moaners with that mentality. They moan every week, plenty at Bramall Lane like that unfortunately 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well done for fronting it Chris. This day and age demand now see he's getting hammered in press for this, massive re build young team 2nd in very difficult league. Get some perspective like he says back or get lost

I was the game in the away end. I clapped the lads off at the end. I didn’t think that there was much negative stuff and the fans are just as eager as anyone connected to the club for good win and decent performance.

these fans moaning aint even proper fans. wouldnt let these fans bother us. we got miles more points than we expected and one off results have happened all season like hull at home. its about the reaction we cant expect to win every game. im super proud of our players. were still 2nd so lets just try get wins for the rest thats all we can do.
