PERIOD POINT BLANK!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 S is like the awkward neglected stepchild; it's just not enough content + the needless microtransactions for artwork we've been known about for the last like 8 years + cute but still lazy sprite edits that anyone coulda made on Pinterest makes this game so forgettable. Honestly, I wish the development mode would keep increasing the strength of your characters instead of resetting them for a chance at getting slightly stronger. It may have worked for V3, Idk I never played that mode, but It's definitely not very intuitive especially for a game where's there's little else to do and the only way to do that is to get new characters which is even worse when the characters are essentially earned by the roll of a die.

It could be super fun and I'd keep playing it to level up my cards. But the fact that playing as a character for a second time not only doesn't guarantee a level up, but essentially makes playing the game pointless because now you just wasted half an hour or more for nothing. If they changed that ONE thing, I would praise this game so much, but I just can't find the motivation to play an RPG where the reward for developing characters is just so stupid and unintuitive. It's such a weird way to do things. It's like the game is encouraging you not to play. I don't understand why developing characters means you need to get a better outcome when playing as them again or you basically just wasted an hour of your life for literally nothing. And besides that, and I'd have no problem with it if it wasn't for the problem previously mentioned, but once you do develop characters, the battles aren't even that fun. So I'm basically playing a game that focuses solely on one thing and all those things aren't even that enjoyable.

Don't get me wrong, I love see the characters interact, but that's literally it. I'm not gonna waste my time if the actual gameplay is just a drag to complete. It really sucks. I wanted more from this game and it just really bummed me out.

HEY BESTIE 💗 After watching this review, i can definitely see this game being fun for about a few hours or so. you’re a huge danganronpa fan, you’re gonna be hella hype to see all the characters you love not get picked off like turkeys on a thanksgiving day and you finally just get to see the characters that you’d never thought interact with each other, interact with each other.

but then you get father into the game and you realize that you get to a level you can’t beat and like you said, you have to wash, rinse, and repeat the whole cycle again and honestly that gets repetitive and boring after a while but let’s just say you don’t mind that and you wanna continue to see all your babies….

why. in. the. hell. is. there. a. gacha. system…….

YOU ALREADY PAID FOR THE GAME why are you paying for characters that don’t even have actual art?? just sprites? to me that’s a complete rip off to the fans that really enjoy dgrp and just wanna enjoy the characters in the game.

why couldn’t you just unlock characters while you’re playing through the game, why do i have to spend MORE money on sprites??? SPRITES! if they were gonna make this a gacha game, then they should have done a whole different approach to how this game operates and made it like genshin or like any other gacha mobile game. and the first step to do that is make the game free x3

Thank you so much for this review!1!1!!!! I was about to drop 20 DOLLARS on this game just for some Chihiro or Komaru content but seeing this I don’t think I could even get 30 minutes into this game before quitting. Plus no new voice stuff 😞😞
