Gulf Coast Orleans II (HD Remake)

What you see here is a Gulf Coast Orleans II ceiling fan in pure white finish with high gloss pure white blades, white scavo glass sideband and matching white scavo shades on the integrated light kit. This fan dates to June 2001. The Orleans II was one of Gulf Coast's two token lighted housing models, introduced in 2001 to replace the Orleans I, which was painted in a matte "French white" finish and included pleated scavo glass accents. The Orleans II disappeared from Gulf Coast's catalog in 2011. This was a display fan that was purchased essentially used-in-box from a Dan's Fan City store about 10 years ago, so right around the time the model was slated for discontinuation. The fan is a halfway decent performer, about on par with your average spinner motor Hunter; has a 172mm motor inside and the blades are pitched to 12 degrees.

I honestly like this I knew these were made in the 90s but didn’t know these lasted as long as it was I know more about the newer line up than the old ones

Never realized it lasted that long! It was not a catalog model towards the end and since I don’t have a store near me my knowledge can be iffy.
