Awesome video! That was a great description of Parametric Equations of a Tangent Line to a Space Curve. 

When you initially find t=1 by using r(t), is it the same as the following? (In Parametric Form):
9 = 4(t)^3 + 5
3 = t^2 + 2(t)^4
-2ln(2) = -2ln(2t)

Then solve for t. I arrived at the same answers, but approached them in another manner I suppose.

How do you get 1 for the substitution r(1)?
