pewdiepie vs t series was epic, but destroyed pewdiepie's growth in the long term, due to the algorithm promoting channels with a good sub to view ratio more. that's a reason why t series, cocomelon etc gain a lot.

PewDiePie now only has 80M-100M true subscribers, no longer being the King of YouTube... his sub/view growth is declining all the time.
