I feel like the no flying game rule has probably caused more harm than good in the grand scheme of minecraft.

I've had the anti cheat trigger while just running and jumping. You know that thing minecrafters do a lot. The anti cheat also often forgets that elytras are a thing.

Exactly why I enable flying while hosting a server for friends, this "feature" is just poorly made and trash.

I remember getting banned on an MP server because I fell 200 blocks above the ground. Reason: Flying. I wasn't flying I was falling. It sucks because the server doesn't take second chances, once you're kicked out you're pretty much banned.

Client: you hit the ground you just jumped off from too hard and died.

Love it when my console gets spammed by "Player moved wrongly!" nad then spits out "Flying is not enabled on this server!".
