Wow, this is easily the best bread I've ever tasted. My husband has been requesting that I make this Hokkai bread (also known as shokupan) that he enjoyed thoroughly in his childhood and I set to work to attempt to make it vegan! Not only would this be perfect for sandwiches or on its own, this bread would be fantastic in French toast 😍❤️. It bakes up golden brown on the outside, with a soft, tender interior. Best bread ever! 😍
