Greyhound racing is a huge problem. And Darcy was the victim of it. After the rough training and little to no human contact, the dog was anxious, hidden in her shell. Luckily, her new brother Hermes showed her the ropes. He opened her heart to people and taught her that she was safe. Together they helped their family's latest addition, a foster dog named Xavier.

My Greyhound Charlie just turned 11. I resecured him off the track when he was 3 years old. He was similar when adopted but with lots of love and patience he has been the most wonderful dog I ever had. He truly is a King and spoiled rotten as he should be. Racing is a cruel and awful life for these majestic and sweet natured dogs.

I have adopted 2 sisters ex-racers from Florida. They were skeletal, nervous and not properly socialized. I live in Canada and I adopted them in the winter: they loved wearing their sweaters and tuques. Greyhounds are extremely sensitive and need to be treated with love and patience. Hopefully the countries still allowing racing will come to their senses and ban this practice.

My grandparents have adopted 2 retired racing greyhounds over the years. The first dog, Pharoah, was my best friend growing up. I still miss him all the time 🕊🌈 They are the most amazing dogs
