The biggest problem is BEING SEEN to look in your mirrors.

You can flick a look and unless the assessor is looking at you then he likely won't see it and will mark it down as a strike.
Move your head to show what you are doing.

In Canada steering like that isn't a problem on the test. I still feed the wheel - my party trick is lock to lock in four handfuls to debunk the "feeding the wheel is too slow" BS.

Note that those are instant fails. You do them, you go home.

You also get insta fail if you don't give any priorities to cars or pededtrians, fail to obey any traffic sign, go to a one way road from the other side, go to a non car road, get your engine tshut down twice (but that's a driving problem if you drive a real car which are manual), not obeying the gestures of a traffic officer.
