This video is awesome, gives great clarity of thought for many people.

Few suggestions for calculator (xls sheet):
1. Pl remove .00 for all amout numbers :-) paise doesn't make sense any more, only rupees.
2. Pl create a column for GOLD in existing investment.
3. Pl create a space for NOT to count "living-home" for returns. Or, give a separate room for reverse-mortgauge

Retirement Corpus tab cell C26 (corpus generated out of new returns) is configured to statically pick the value from "='Pre Retirement'!F24". So if one wants to retire at 50, then also the value is picked from corpus left at age 57.

Now I have more knowledge about personal finance. I just subscribed to your channel. Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth in this recession. I’m 47 and my wife is 43, we are both retired, no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money and still earning passively even in recession. Saving and investing lifestyle in the financial market made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income

There are a few bugs, but nevertheless, the skeletal structure and ideology is great. Ppl probably hv to pay a very hefty fee to get this kinda stuff. Thanks to u, calculation is easier...

Excel have wrong formulas. Please fix it. The corpus looks unrealistic with such small amount of investment. But the concept is good. Hope to see the corrected excel in future :)

Can i have a suggestion to you guys?

I assume you guys are from tier 1 and 2 institutions and landed up a job with min 7Lac per annum at the age of 23 or 24. May be you were lucky enough you need to take care of yourself only and parents aren't depended on your salary. All your salary for your self and people like can invest.

Can you suggest for people like me with regards taking care of 7 people including a child, grandmother, sister education, parents and wife. Even j felt to go abroad and study, take all the money and invest be selfish enough to do for me. But cannot do that and i cant even dream of it for a minute.

You guys are doing great work. But please do address our problem as well.

The calculator is in correct: if you have bank balance of Rs 10 and FD of Rs, 10, MF for Rs 10 and invest Rs 1 per month for 1 year (retire in 1 year). It generates corpus of 1, 157. which does not make sense.

How the expenses prior to age 50 ( retirement) adjusted?. Say children marriage at 49? Expense may be 10 Lak. In the sheet. Retirement Corpus tab cell C26 (corpus generated out of new returns) is configured to statically pick the value from "='Pre Retirement'!E24". Should be F24. Just for information

I think the excel doesnt takes into account, t the contributions to EPF and PPF that will happen uptil the retirement, also it doesnt factors in the NPS account (though we can club it with the other Mutual funds)

Please correct excel many mistakes, gives very optimistic picture.
Few observations: Future goals calculation is wrong. Check formulas for E31 onwards.

Also incorrect is cell retirement corpus cell C26 calculation. These two things present fantastic picture ( which is not true)

However thumbs up for the concept. I will welcome updated excel soon.
