California Halibut Stock Assessment and Peer Review Public Sharing Webinar

As part of the implementation of the 2018 Master Plan for Fisheries: A Guide for the Implementation of the Marine Life Management Act (MLMA Master Plan), California halibut has been identified as a high priority species for management attention. During the webinar, participants will be introduced to CDFW’s process of data collection and analysis to understand the status of the California halibut stock. Participants will also be provided with an overview of the key findings of a scientific and technical peer review panel that evaluated the stock assessment.
