I mean my 2024 Toyota RAV4 TRD OFF ROAD was 41K and it’s got everything. Yes I know the RAV4 and Tacoma are different vehicles but the price of the new Tacoma’s are just absolutely insane.

Best truck I ever owned.

I drive a 2017 3rd gen TRD Off Road Access cab that I purchased new . I paid just over $35000.

In 2006, I bought the 2nd gen TRD Off Road Access cab for $27000 new.


The Access cab pickup is no longer being made.
The equivalent in 2025 will now cost you $54000!

Good luck finding a real truck with the long bed.
The only thing available, it seems, is the stupid 5ft bed 4 doors.
You can hardly call that a truck . Completely worthless vehicle.

Why ??

A word of advice, if you currently own a 2nd or 3rd generation Tacoma in good condition. Hang on to it.

Makes me love the lightly used, low mileage, V-6 powered Tacoma even more than I already did. Purchased the '23 in late 2024 and don't regret walking away from the many four cylinder '24 and '25 models that are not selling around here at least.

I will admit, i had a 2024 trd off road drive past me yesterday and it looked pretty damn good. But....my 2022 xp pred makes me happy. First vehicle i have owned that i honestly want to keep for as long as possible.

I got the 2024 Nissan Frontier sv 37k otd and it has everything but leather seats, but 6 cylinder and 310 hp are amazing.

I just got my 1st ever truck, i purchased a 2025 Tacoma SR5 double cab 7miles for 37k out the door, is this a good deal or not ? i was at the dealer for 5-6hrs.

My SR5 was 42K originally. I was able to get it down to 36K. You can negotiate and get the price down. I wouldn’t pay full retail price .
