thx for uploading. my teenage song. while everyone was listening to alt and indie and brit, this was a banger for me.

i just love the underlying sound 9that to me, just to me, sounds irish). used to have the cassette but it got lost. this was one of the first songs i looked up when the internet came around but to no avail.

just recently understood that this song is actually referring to those sent to Botany Bay NSW. must had been a rough time (both for them and the indigenous people there, of course). must be lonely not being able to return to your homeland, for whatever reason, and to have only a song to hold on to your root.
