2024 Kia Soul LX Walkaround | Is base enough?

Are you looking for a great base model car and thinking of getting a soul? Check out this video on the 2024 Kia Soul! In my opinion this is one of the best cars to buy for the money... as long as you can get over how it looks.

I'm 81 years old and don't have an issue with the gas cover lever. This car is also super quiet in fact its the quietest of all vehicles in this classification. yeah 52.2db at 55mph. I was surprised at quiet it was the first time I drove it. It also has more than enough acceleration to merge with throughway speed which is all one really requires. In fact its has about the same 0-60 speed that my 1966 Chrysler 300 had! Tell you what for the $$ you ain't gonna beat this vehicle. BTW I did get the technology package (a $500 option) because I needed blind side detect which it normally does not have. I don't use any of the other functions such as lane hold assist. yeah I know how to drive without that! I did try it though and it works very surprisingly well but I would never trust it. Yep I'll stay with using my eyeballs.

I travel alot for work. I am driving a brand new Kia Soul for the week. I am seriously impressed with this car. Not nearly as nice as my Mini Countryman I drive, but it is a great entry or economy vehicle.

You can get a seat back organizer, it’s not that hard to add usb ports for the rear, and just pop your gas tank door before you get out of the car at the pump.

I still have my 2010 Kia soul shadow dragon series. 130, 000 miles. And keeps going strong lol. Well... Kia strong 😂

The gas door latch is the same on my Forte. You pull the latch while seated.

Wish you would have given the prices on all models. I want to purchase one but don’t want to be ripped off.

When you got to the part about the electric oil pump I knew I wasn't going to be buying this car.

That's the problem with cars these days they try to get fancy and cheaper with things like oil pumps, I worked on BMW's for a while and I was replacing a lot of electric water pumps and I really found them a bad design and a weak point of that brand.

I think the Chevy trailblazer has more room behind the rear seat.
