Elon Musk and Grimes have expanded their family. The former couple confirmed they secretly welcomed their third child together, responding separately to recent reports about the little one's arrival. Musk replied to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sept. 10 to clarify his newest son's name, writing simply, "Tau Techno Mechanicus." For her part, Grimes spoke out on the Musk-owned platform the same day, following news that Walter Isaacson's upcoming biography on the Tesla founder mentions their newest addition. The singer deleted an original post in which she instructed Isaacson to "tell Elon to let me see my son or respond to my lawyer," after the author posted a photo of Musk and Shivon Zilis with their twins, who were born weeks before his and Grimes' second child. Grimes later explained herself further, apologizing to Isaacson and Zilis and sharing that she and the Neuralink executive had "finally" spoken "at length" and are on good terms. "Communication about the twins wasn't handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation. Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it's very evident she's an amazing human and we both just want what's best for our kids. I wish I could show you how cute little Techno is but my priority rn is keeping my babies out of the public eye. Plz respect that at this time."
