I'm glad someone else mentioned the problem with the gallery filter... I feel like no one is really talking about it. For me, not being able to filter things by "packs I own" is really troublesome since i don't like building and often search for already finished buildings on gallery

They should finally change the game code and allow unreciprocated relationships. It feels so unrealistic that everyone’s feelings are mutual, you can’t have any fun with the gameplay because of it. I loved the sims 2 relationship dynamics, it was so much more realistic 😢

Match making should work exactly like the Detective Career. Get a case (the sim looking for a date), ask questions to learn their preferences, and then go to a bar and interview singles to find the one who's most compatible. Then you get a call later with the results of the date. And then if they get married you'd get invited to their wedding! That's how I would do it anyway.

❗For the PC players: there's a mod that prevents randos from autonomously approaching your sims and starting conversations in public. It's called "NPC fu*k off" (not censored, obv)

YES!! We need the adult humour back in The sims!! I have been playing TS1 Hot Date again and it was so much fun, the jokes, the naughty interactions, the items, I could never imagine TS4 making a vibrating bed.

I really hope “the gallery” can be your own library as well, that’d be cool. Like MCCC importing tray sims for townies if they have the right tag.

Also, LOVE the idea of a broken heart death, and portable woohoo, lmao. I think it’s more than just a picnic blanket, it’s the possibility of woohooing on the beach or somewhere secluded in the forest.

I won't be interrupted by townies unless I invite them. I have 100% faith that they've taken into account for the atrocious autonomy of the other sim(s) on the date, not just the played household. My sim-date definitely won't engage anyone else in conversation. Our bartender definitely won't feel invited in by taking our drink order. A horse won't come to do its business and then demand attention. The sims on a date won't try to pick up a toddler from a highchair 5 times. No one will go to the bathroom abruptly, grab a glass of water, and shoo another sim away, inadvertently inviting them into our date.

Recycling used content, adding more outlandish functionality that'll only break the game even more and patch-over-the-top rehauls of existing mechanics that will basically brick it, all to put romantic interactions behind the biggest paywall that exists within the game? No wonder me and my Simmer friend haven't touched this game in months now.

So, are they fixing the fact that some people add Sims with cc to the gallery using 3rd party programs as "no custom content" or are we getting matched with naked bald npcs?
