The benchmark indices are trading almost flat amid volatility. Sensex trading around the 49700 levels while Nifty trading around the 14800 mark. Broader Markets are outperforming the benchmark indices, smallcaps outshine. The PSU Bank index rose over 3%, while pharma index is up 2% in trade. Diagnostics stocks like Thyrocare and Metropolis  up 4% each after PM push for more testing vs vaccinations. Bank of Maharashtra, IOB, PSU Banks rally on reports of privatization picking steam and meeting next week to discuss the potential candidates for privatization.
