My mother made a pink fruit salad every Christmas with watermelon, pink seedless grapes, pitted cherries, strawberries, raspberries - anything on the pink/red spectrum. She'd also dress it with a strawberry liqueur and lime zest/juice. Heaven! (BTW this was in New Zealand where Xmas is in summer!)

I usually add cubes of green apple to my fruit salads for some extra tartness and texture, and I dress it with lemon juice and thinly sliced mint leaves. Will definitely try the lime/honey dressing next time - sounds delicious!

This is definitely a healthier alternative to the fruit salad my family does hahaha! In our fruit salad we start off making pistachio pudding, then dump in drained fruit cocktail, mix in sour cream, rainbow marshmallows, room temp cool whip, and chopped walnuts!

I made this recipe for a family gathering. I soaked the banana slices in the dressing while preparing the other fruit; the citric acid in the dressing prevented the bananas from browning (thus, not needing to wait until the last minute to add them). I also substituted 5 packets of Stevia and 6 packets of Aspartame for the honey. It was a big hit, and I will make this again!

Great fruit salad! One recommendation I do have is that you can slice the black berries in half so that it could bleed out for more flavor, but at the same time the juices from it doesn’t go all over it and make it look less appealing. But not slicing them in half is still good either way.
