For the tart:
2 cups or 250g flour
1 egg
125g butter
90g or 1/3 cup and 1 and 1/2 sugar
For the ganache:
400g plain chocolate
8 tbsp double cream
60g butter
2 tbsp caster sugar (optional)
Oil for greasing.

I made this and it was honestly DELICIOUS. Few things;
1) if you're using dairy milk chocolate, there's no need for additional sugar and ease up on the sugar in the base (tastes like a biscuit!)
2) these were really sweet for me! If you think it's a bit on the small side, trust me it's fine!
3) I had hazelnut gelato on top of mine and it was amazing!

If you don't want to bother with pastry, a simple biscuit base works quite well.

1. Get some digestives (how many depends on the size of the tin/s) and crush them up in a food processor. Put these in a mixing bowl.

2. Melt butter in a pan (85 grams for every 175 grams biscuits) until fully melted.

3. Add the butter to the digestives in the mixing bowl and stir in. Do this quickly to avoid the mixture cooling down too much.

4. Spoon the digestive mixture into your tin/s and evenly press into all sides of the tin/s. (I find a spoon helps for this as the mixture is quite hot).

5. Leave your base to cool in the fridge whilst you make the sauce. Then pour sauce over your base. Leave to chill in the fridge and enjoy :D
