The wisdom teeth are the last teeth to develop and come into the mouth. Also known as third molars, they are more commonly known as wisdom teeth because they come in around the late teens or early twenties, a season of life referred to as the age of wisdom. Although wisdom teeth usually come in around young adulthood, they start to develop under the gums around age 11 or 12. During your child’s regular dental checkups, the development of your child’s wisdom teeth will be monitored. The appropriate time for extraction will be determined by your dentist and oral surgeon. If you or your child has been recommended for wisdom teeth removal, we encourage you to call our friendly staff at North Iowa Oral Surgery to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced oral surgeons. Drs. Hogg and Kepros are highly trained to remove wisdom teeth.

The following statement is based in its entirety on my opinion:

When I had my wisdom teeth out Dr. Lyell Hogg (one of the orthodontists featured in this video) Threatened to leave the work half done because out of fear ( I am severely mentally disabled) I opted to stay awake during the procedure and I swore a single time during the procedure which involved cutting out a small portion of my jaw. RUN don't walk. He did a similar thing ( I would later learn) to my older brother.

If he would do this to a person with mental handicaps he would do it to you.
