It’d be amazing to get all of this done at the same time instead of wasting so much time going to a different doctor for each individual thing like we do in the US.

This only costs $450 USD. Got mine done in May 2023. It included an MRI, CAT scan, and endoscopy as well. Highly recommended

I agree, taxes should be going to this and not wars. Keeping the populace healthy and happy ultimately helps the country.

This actually made me cry. If I was given this level of care 13 years ago when I went into the doctor I wouldn’t still be sick.

You get these checkups for free in Korea once you become an adult. I got one myself last week.

As someone from the US I had to BEG for years to have someone pull up my shirt to say I have very obvious scoliosis. Honestly wish they had this for us, it would save alot of teens and adults late diagnosis.

US peeps don't forget even with travel/ hotel costs buying this is way cheaper than a comprehensive annual in the US, and it covers more!

As a chronically ill person, I’m crying looking at this. Imagine if the doctors caught my issues even 10, 15 years before I did and could’ve saved me all that pain and damage.

Did mine. CBC, MRI, X-ray, bone density, endoscopy, ultrasound, prostrate….cancelled the colonoscopy. Images to disc, report translated to English, and the physician gave me an out brief. Found several issues that I was not aware of. My doc at home can now justify testing/exams for insurance coverage.

Added later for clarification: I considered everything done then as proactive medical care versus reactive medical care here at home. Some medical issues uncovered then are now monitored regularly by my doctor stateside. Better to have discovered this issues then and treated accordingly, instead of when the issues manifested physically at a later time and require critical care. In my opinion, the benefits DID outweigh the risk.

I remember when I was young and went to Korea to visit some family. That was when I got an allergy test, which I've never gotten here in the U.S. Plus, the doctors are incredible with kids. It was during a time when I honestly got scared of everything at the hospital and the doctors and nurses absolutely just nailed working with me and making me feel comfortable. We pail in comparison to them in the healthcare industry... Korean hospitals make sure that a big health problem is fixed, even if it requires an expensive surgery.

My yearly physical was my Dr.looked in my ears, listening to my heart and checking my neck to see if I had swollen glands. It lasted 5 minutes.

I recently underwent comprehensive health testing with Seoul Guide Medical. The experience was exceptionally convenient, and the results were provided in thorough detail. Additionally, I received ample assistance throughout the process, which made the entire experience even more reassuring.

There's a private Japanese hospital in London that does this too. I had it done as a spouse benefit. It's really comprehensive!

In the US you’ll have to wait 6 months to see a specialist be told you’re okay but there’s something they want to monitor so they send you to another sub-specialist with an 8 month waiting list. They’ll tell you they think you’ve had cancer for roughly 14 months and wonder why you didn’t come to them sooner. Also that’ll be $666, 000 please

That’s so cool ! In America we have to wait months for referrals/appointments for each thing separately
( thank u guys sm for all the likes wow)

This whole check-up costs usually $400~500. Korean regular check-up is convenient, efficient, and much cheaper than the American hospital costs.

meanwhile I told cleveland clinic I found a lump in my breast and neck and they denied my appointment request. I mind you I told them this TWICE and was DENIED TWICE. I’m still trying to get a appointment in, pray for me and send me good health affirmations please 🥺 i’m honestly scared but trying to be strong. it sucks not knowing if you will get proper care.

We have something similar in Germany for everyone over 35 and it's *free*. Well...you pay with your taxes 😂

In India too, they have same comprehensive health checks, with various packages available including overnight stay. I live in US but when I go to India, I do get it done and never usually go to see the doctors here in US unless for any specific purpose. In India, the lab guy comes to your house to draw blood, and you get the blood work results usually within couple of hours! I love it so much.

Meanwhile in america a nurse weighs you and draws blood and no matter how many symptoms you have they tell you it’s normal :D or in your head. If you’re lucky they will look in your ears, listen to your heart, and make you look at a tiny flashlight. And in special rare occasions they will hit your knee with a little hammer. Then they will call to tell you that the extremely limited and useless blood panel was all normal and ignore anything you have to say about your own health.
