Will we ever get a real Jurassic Park?

We hope you like the first episode of our new series "Science is Hard". What concepts in science would you like to see us tackle in this new format?
Ever since we watched Jurassic Park as kids, we've all assumed that science would figure out how to make real dinosaurs. So what's the hold-up? Are we ever going to be able to have pet velociraptors? Let's find out on the first episode of our new series, Science is Hard.

Definitely the weirdest episode of Wisecrack I've come across.

I feel like this is just a clever excuse to come up with dozens of euphemisms for semen.

Ok...

Wisecrack was so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

All I could think during Tom's story is that someone either lost or won a bet. Can't figure out which.

Alternate title: how many euphemisms for Dino sperm can Michael come up with.

"Dinosaur Circle Jerk" was definitely something I wasn't expecting to hear today....or ever.

I'm pretty sure the entire transcript of this video consists of sentences that have never been constructed before.

Fun fact: The reason we can't extract the blood from insects in amber is that amber is a relatively open system. The blood is able to interact with gasses and moisture, so the molecules (including DNA) have decayed.

The beginning of this video: "be prepared to have an awful day head phone users"

Last I heard, there were more fundamental issues with atavism activation. Some genes are fully lost over time; for instance chickens no longer have genes for creating enamel, so we can't actually give them functioning teeth.

It's still an exciting idea, but most useful in more recent extinctions like ice age animals who haven't had the time to fully lose their deactivated genes.

PLEASE YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR THE NEXT EPISODE:
"How cloning Nelson Mandela could bring back Bionicle"

1) I appreciate you guys trying new things on the channel.
2) I'm willing to give another episode or two of the "science is hard".
3) The extreme juvenile humor...wasn't so great. A joke or two, fine, sure, but it was so over done to be off-putting. If this is supposed to be a higher quality, education, type channel...a bunch of euphemisms for T-rex jizz ain't the way to go.

I appreciate the enormous effort that must've gone into developing so many unique euphemisms for t-rex sperm, but too much attention has been paid to this and detailing the virtually impossible scenario of passionate self-love the rex named tom must've gone through. uncomfortable to watch

I don’t think they ‘came’ up with enough Dino Juice Euphemisms for this episode

I don't usually say this, but what in the world did I just watch? I feel like someone was having some sort of neurological emergency, but I don't know if it was me or everyone at Wisecrack all at once or a glitch in the Matrix or what.

Pure insanity. I, for one, am here for it.

When we have Quantum computers we can brute-force all possible combinations of genetic codes and simulate them until we find the ones that look like dinosaurs.

This whole episode was a ride. When you said "Science is Hard" you never mentioned it would be Tom the Dinosaur who was, in fact, also hard.
