Here's How an F-22 Raptor Flew under the Iranian Fighter Jet and Told Him to go Home

In 2013, two Iranian Air Force F-4 Phantoms moved to intercept an MQ-1 drone flying in international airspace near the Iranian border. The two IRIAF fighters were quickly shooed away by two F-22 Raptors who were flying in escort.

Except, they didn't just get a warning message, they were Maverick-ed. That's what I'm calling it now.

The select few that get to pilot one of man's greatest achievements in technology...it would be an honor.

I'm impressed with the professionalism of the ground Crews. those men even crawled inside the jet intake in a lint proof suit! they're going to make damn sure that that plane is safe to fly for whoever flies it.. outstanding! great job guys.

Be nice to see what the drones saw or the F22's onboard cameras recorded

An F-4 with updates is anything but a museum piece. They're still highly capable.

The real story is not what the USAF F-22s did to the Iranian fighters. The story is that the Iranian air force is still flying F-4 Phantoms, which the U.S. retired decades ago.

I greatly appreciate your videos. I’m a retired GM tool and die guy and a job shop owner so I feel qualified to comment and/or rate the accuracy of your methods and comments. So far I’ve been amazed at your knowledge of such a vast spectrum of machinery, hand tools and welding. I’ve recommended your channel to a number of my younger family members because of your ability to express very knowledgeably the theories and procedures of a trade that is dear to me.

To EVERYONE watching this, after the 3:15 mark it's just filler so the video can get past the 10 minute timeframe and to put in 6 ads...

Please stop using an electronic voice. It's the whole reason that I haven't subscribed to this channel.

F22 is marvelous no doubt,
but imagine if some Russian drone was 16 miles away from American shores, what will America do?
Iranians were doing their job, its a blessing to have this technology, keep it for good use rather than bullying others.
Im a big fan of American Tech and fighter planes, but the use of tech is ....

Notice how all of their videos just barely break the minimum length so that they can put like 6 ads on it

Ancient F-4 Phantom flies faster than the F-22/35.

This happened some time ago... point of note, there were no F-4S Phantom IIs ever sold to the IRAF, (Which became the IRIAF in 1979 after the revolution).  The Iranian IRAF were sold F-4D model and F-4Es which were USAF aircraft.  The F-4S was strictly a late model re-build of some F-4J Phantom IIs and used solely as a US Navy fighter up to the late 80's including reserve squadrons.
