Oregon Farm Tour | Fresh Farm to Table Cooking Ideas for Seasonal Healthy Eating

I’m excited to kick off my nomadic farm to table series with this tour of a very special permaculture farm in Oregon pines. Experience the local organic farming life with me as I help these awesome farmers enjoy the fruits of summer and usher in the fall season. I’ll not only show you the harvesting, planting and maintaining of this edible food forest, but also the delicious recipes that can be created from this seasonal produce. With fresh veggies galore, it’s hard not to get creative about all the healthy food I can cook up and eat!
It’s so exciting finding a place where I can be gardening again - but from the road! Despite living as a nomad, it feels to know that I can still get in the dirt and spend time in the garden. It feels even better to meet other gardeners who are living nomadically! I’ll dive into their story and the farming knowledge they’ve gotten along the way. We’ll also discuss cultivating practices and methods for increasing biodiversity.

My sister and I are starting our nomadic journey in Oregon in early October and your videos are giving me so much hope! We are literally aiming to find a permaculture farm to work on for the first couple months to explore our interest in it and connect with the Earth while we get used to our new lifestyle.
