APENG 0 – 2 BOBAI (Padang A)

Another Selasa League kicked – off with one of the most anticipated matches, the Bukit Damansara Derby between Apeng and Bobai. The old boys of Apeng making a comeback to the football scence, and with the aid of some new young faces, but couldn’t stop the more experienced Bobai team from prevailing.

Ellis Denyer, the lad from the UK who has been banging in goals for fun in recent matches, was once again the difference with 2 clinical finish after being put through in a one – on – one situations by Kuiz and Shazwan respectively.

Apeng had chances to score throughout the game, but some woeful finishing cost them dearly. End of the day it’s a lesson well learnt from the boys of Apeng and their young batch of players. They can only improve with more games in the near future.

As for Bobai, they are on a roll at the moment. With positive results in the Garden Social League, and starting off with a win here, they are on the right track. With Ellis in such hot scoring form, it will take something special to stop them.
