This beautiful song was the theme song for the movie "ICE CASTLES". It's a true story about a young girl who wanted to become an Olympic ice skater. But her dream was cut short when she became blind. Her devoted boyfriend taught her how to use her other heightened senses to calculate the width and length of the Olympic Ice Arena. A beautiful and amazing story...just like this song! Based on pure love and devotion to another person. ♥️😔

My most favorite song that my bf loved too. He had loved it since 1978, as did i. We met in 2015. It was still, after all those years, still a favorite for each one of us. A beautiful song with beautiful words that neither of us knew why it meant so much to us until we met MANY years later. How special was that that he loved it too!! That song had even more meaning when our 'storm' was his battle with cancer that he lost. But all thru life, on different paths, we never knew why the song was so special to each one of us, we certainly found out why when we found one another.
