The most annoying part about being a software engineer is people asking us to build websites/apps for them for free. A cousin of mine recently asked me to build an app for her business within a very short period of time for free while I was working full time. I simply don't understand how people can be this ignorant about such a popular real job! People, please understand that we get paid to develop apps and websites and it takes a lot of hard work and sweat for us to do that. Don't ask us to build things for free!

I've watched other videos on YouTube explaining software engineering, & they give these long drawn-out explanations before they actually tell you what software engineering is.

Hey Clement, love your videos. You have emphasized a lot about the importance of API design in many of your videos. Is it possible to make a video where you actually go through an example where you design the API for a software and walk us through the process? Like how you would go about designing the API for a software. As a sophomore computer science student who is planning on making his own software product, I think it will be a great help to me and anyone else in the same position.

I would also note that nowdays companies typicaly do not do of an entire product, but try to "cut" it to smaller pieces and do the steps for this each part and the demo it to get feedback. The benefit is that instead of working two years on something big and only then get feedback, you get feedback constantly. Naturally to some extent - requirements and design takes into account future possible development, but in general you're trying to focus only on current phase and avoid looking far into the horizon. That was agile in 4 sentences :-)
