I LOVE THIS!!!! The Black Girls Hack team brought so much talent, brilliance, and insight to the event. The chance to be in a room where I wasn't the only one who looked like me was such an amazing feeling and I don't think I would have walked away from my Defcon experience with such a positive outlook if the Girls Hack Village had not been present.

Please keep doing the work, it matters so much!!

If you read the hack manifesto? It states there are no gender, sexual orientation, political party, race or religious creed. Guidelines from the development of M.I.T opensource. Hacking has no room for political bias. Information wants to be free.

Shame to see the direction this has all gone, defcon used to be about cool people showing off cool tricks. I don't give a shit who does it, guy, girl, doesn't matter. It was all about the tech and some good humor. Now its a constant reminder of the measures and other forced political agenda's. Hacker culture should know better than this.
