SF Board of Supervisors allows Castro Theatre owner to move forward with renovations

The majority of San Francisco's Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday to exclude language to add the theater's orchestra seats to the building's landmark designation. Now, Another Planet Entertainment, which operates the theater, can move forward with a renovation plan they say will make the theater financially viable.
