Ever since the installation of this cutout people have asked for a more in depth video about the actual exhaust note. After all that is what the whole modification is about! It is basically just a muffler delete, but with the cutout you can switch it off at any time. This is by far my favorite upgrade and I would recommend it to any and everyone. Thanks for watching. Sorry, but that head-up display looks terrible to me, it doesn't seem like a natural fit to the car... :/

I have a little question, if I replace my resonator by an exhaust cut-out valve, it would basically be a muffler and resonator delete? Thanks for your answer!

Sounds great, question for you. I already have a muffler delete and a secondary cat delete on my E93 328i. Would like modification make a difference in sound and pops for with the mods I already got ? Thanks

Love the video. I have been trying to find the BMW performance exhaust for this car 328i.. but it was sadly discontinued, so I am looking for an alternative. This is affordable and not too loud (controlled)!
Question about this whole exhaust cutout process. It is basically a muffler delete with an electric exhaust-controlled valve; how would I go about plugging up the wiring? I guess I won't need any exhaust tips or exhaust holes on my rear bumper
Lastly, what kind of stereo is that? I love how well it fits and looks with the classic BMW interrior. I have the Eonon Android version; I would like an up-to-date Apple carplay stereo like that one.
