I've seen some people saying that they dislike the more droney vibe this album is giving off (at least form the 3 tracks that have been released so far), but I'm really digging it.

The end of that song is awesome. It has an early QOTSA guitar tone and overall feel to it. I did see these guys open up for Mastodon at some point in the last few years, but I am unsure of the album that they were touring for, but none of the songs from this album are sounding familiar. Regardless, I have a feeling that I am at the opening of a rabbit hole with this band...

Tremendous!  Great sound on this one.  Love the incorporation of the percussion instruments.  Production shows greater emphasis on vocals as well.  Really well done.
