The Dam Keeper: Official Trailer #1

The Dam Keeper, a short film by feature animation artists Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi tells the tale of a young pig encumbered with an important job, and the meeting of a new classmate who changes everything.

The short blends traditional hand-drawn animation with lush brushstrokes to bring Kondo and Tsutsumi's celebrated painting style to life like never before. Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen (Forbrydelsen, Sherlock) narrates the film.

This should win the 2015 Oscar. Sure the Disney "feast" is adorable but this story is deeper and the animation/drawing is high quality

This little short has left me speechless.. This is done with a huge heart, thought and emotions that unfortunately we don't get to see much these days. The color and the lighting... Oh man.. I have not seen a more beautiful piece in a long time. My compliments to the masters behind this. Thank you!

I watched this today and it is so artistically, thoughtfully, and beautifully made. I was very sad throughout the film however as someone who grew up with bullying and it's unfortunate that most do not grow out of this as "adults". I wish everyone did not bully one another. But I like the message. It's nice when you can find even just one companion in this dark dreary world. Thank you to the makers of this film. :')

I love this short film. The fox and pig are cute. Reminds me of Tod and Copper from The Fox and the Hound, except Copper is a pig instead of a dog! Lol
