The Keter folding workbench/table is a light weight and very easy to set up bench. This can quite literally be set up in a matter of seconds. Simply depress two levers with your thumbs and the legs drop from the unit making a sturdy work table/bench that can hold 1000Lbs in weight. This Keter folding table weighs just 13lbs and fold up small enough to fit in even the smallest of car boots etc. Two clamps are also supplied with this bench. Currently this is for sale at B&Q for £55 and in Screwfix at £59

Had mine for a couple of years and it has stood up to site work no problem.

I've one of the older versions, around 3 years old. it sometimes feels a little flimsy but it has taken some stick holding iron pipe. I use it often now for basic joinery and as a tiling table. it's well worth the money for anyone who needs to quickly set up a workbench/ table for lighter jobs. Good review!

I've had a Keter workbench for over 2 years & would fully recommend it, it's much lighter than a Workmate, quicker to set up and gives a much larger surface area to work on. The only 1 negative point is be extra careful with the small thumb tabs that are initially pressed outwards to open the bench from the closed position as 1 of mine recently snapped off & oddly Keter don't supply these as spare parts. Over time these may become brittle & will break, but otherwise a great bench, and another great review.

Had one of these for a few year now, my keter has yellow instead of the red but exactly the same, fantastic work table and very very handy.

I must have mine for over three years. Your quite right not as sturdy as a workmate, but its a lot lighter and has a lot more surface area. I use mine a pop up table top surface to keep my tools on when working around the garden, house or on the car. Its better than putting stuff on the floor, not as much bending over. Got to look after your back.

Not sure which model I finally got, it took 3 tries, the red parts are yellow on mine. My husband ordered it for me (from Amazon) as a Christmas gift, it went on back order and was eventually cancelled. He then found it from Costco on line, it too went on back order and was cancelled. Then I received an email from Amazon, one of those that said, people who ordered this also liked . . . (never mind that it had been cancelled). My hubby ordered it and WE GOT! I love it! easy to set up & take down. The clamps are very useful in the slots as well as where ever I need to move them. I'm just starting woodwork and I have found it very useful.

Hello mate, sorry for late commenting!
First, great review as always.
I can give you my opinion as I have the older keter workbench I got from Costco about 4 years ago, its orange In the places your one is red. Everything you said I 100% agree with. Not amazingly sturdy but hey it's plastic and not fully square. I've used it for 100s or things mainly as a mitre chop saw table. As for the reliability, I use it approx 1-3 times a week for a few hours at a time. I sometimes leave it open but mostly close it. The only thing wrong with my keter is the holes/dents and scratches I've put all over it from using it a lot, but it still works fine also something worth noting, the leg are solid and they have not came loose, it still feels solid as the day I bought it. One draw back but nothing major: the 2 clamps are average also the bits where they slot into the centre of the table when your about to close the table, to me aren't the best, it's tricky getting them into the slots.

I still have have my original B&D workmate i bought in the 70's, i bought the Keter last year yes its great for small jobs and a lot lighter than the work mate,
I find the speed clamps awkward to get in and out of there storage location but once fitted they are very handy
When i have to do heavy work my old friend the work mate is used

Don't recommend using the carry handle to dislodge the central support during breakdown. From reading reviews this will lead to failure of the handle. Just tap the opposite side with the palm of your hand instead. Any long term usage updates?

Have you tried getting the clamps back where they came from yet? Lol 👍

as the review shows, rocks like mad when erected especially if you trying to handsaw wood, but in all other aspects a neat package, especially the large surface area of the worktop.
Use the right tool for the right job!
There are things better done on a more sturdy workbench, there are other things this scores on. I would suggest that the price difference is probably the deciding factor at £70 compared to the "traditional" (DIY) folding workbench at £30 ish.

I'll be honest, I was kinda hoping those red slots were miter slots so you could use this as an outfeed table for a table saw.
