For me the battery life is actually better and improved compared to iOS 15. I'm using iPhone 11 with iOS 16.1 beta. It's very noticeable because previously I only have around 20% when I'm home from work, but now I still consistently have around 40-45%. I use GPS every morning when walking 4km to work. (around 40 minute usage) the battery drain around 3-5 % compared to 10-15 % previously.

Here are some problems I’m facing using iOS 16(iOS 16.0.2 on iPhone XR)
• overheating while using CarPlay
• overheating while using the front camera
• camera being glitchy when I take pictures
• overheating when I switch wallpapers

Noticed a bug on your phone. When the dynamic island is extended (mini ‘widget’ is used) it doesn’t align with the physical pill and is smaller

16.0.3 on both a 13 Mini and 13 Pro. No issues with either. Car play is a little different but it's working fine, and the battery life on both is decent.

iOS 16.0.2/3 battery life on iPhone 13 Pro is horrendous. I still regret updating from iOS 15.
Friends of me also have that problem on their iPhone 11 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

I miss iOS 15 so much. Updating to 16 bricked my phone on the day it released and I had to factory reset my phone. I got it fixed 3 days later at the Genius Bar, but man these glitches in 16 are brutal. Everything has become a challenge to use. It seems like everything within apps requires more time and effort from me. Constant crashing and the battery life is horrible.

They need to put some configuration to disable crash detection. There are some many rollercoaster in eventual places around the world.
